Vizio Corporate Support Manager


Called Vizio Corporate support to get help on a problem I was having with a REPLACEMENT Vizio they sent me. Last February we went to Walmart to purchase a TV, we purchased a Vizio 46 " and that one started to get some blueish shadows, so I called the Vizio tech support and after months of talking to techs from Vizio they decided to send a repair man to replace a circut board in the tv, well that didn't work the shadowing was still there, so Vizio decided to send me a replacement Vizio television same model and here it is May of 2011 and now a blue line has appeared on the screen and now they are saying that the warranty has expired and there is nothing they can do other than give me a reduced price on a replacement television, why would I want another television from Vizio if they only last less than a year, I can bet you that if anyone asked me about the VIZIO BRAND television I will do my best to discourage them from wasting their hard earned money on a throw away television that doesn't even last a year. I think Vizio needs to train their manager with badge number 282 ( Brian ) on how to talk to people, he was very rude.

Dude, I have BLACK shadows and lines across the top of my screen and the supervisor at Vizio said "I've never heard of that"! Please! I told him there are 86 pages on it if you type in "Vizio black lines" BOOOM! Ridiculous! Plus he was RUDE as hell! All he did was piss me of even more! I wrote to Vizio about my conversation with him. Probably won't help. Live and Learn, I will NEVER buy a Vizio product again!

Same experience with Vizio as far as 'the warranty has expired' when the same problem kept occuring.

I am writing to tell you about my wonderful experience with Vizio tech support. I am 62 years old and disabled. Between my Son and I we have purchased 5 Vizio tv sets in the last year. Two 55 inch one 37 inch and three 32 inch LCD tv's. After purchasing my first 55 inch at Costco, I purchased a 37 inch. Before my 90 days was up, I had to return the set because of a Backlight dimming problem. Well I am now passed the 90 day return policy and I am having the same issue. This is what Vizio had me do. Number 0ne, take two pictures of the front of the set to include the bezel and the Vizio logo. Not good enough. Number Two, take two more pictures of the screen showing what the issue is. Not good enough. Number Three, while someone watches the front of the set to see the dimming, I need to watch the back of the set in the vent to see if the backlight dims also. It did. Now this is 10 days later and they tell me they need to replace it. Instead of having me take the set back to where I purchased it for the replacement oh no. I have two choices. Number one, I need to wait 3 to 5 days for them to send me a box for me to put the old set in and send it back. Once they receive the old set they will send me a recycled set. I still don't know if my warranty starts over not. Or Number Two, they will send me a recycled set first but put a hold of five hundred dollars on my credit card until they receive the old one back. At this point I am so sorry I even purchased one Vizio. I will never buy another Vizio as long as I am alive. The customer service is the worse I have ever encountered in all my 62 years.
